About Dr. Jawdat Abboud
Over the past 15 years, thousands of patients and their families have entrusted Dr. Abboud with their medical care for cosmetic laser skin care and non-invasive procedures. He is the owner and director of Charming Skin Med Spa, a network of cosmetic and laser skin care centers widely recognized in and around Chicago. In the last two years alone, Dr. Abboud has completed more than 500 endo-vein laser treatments for varicose veins with a 99% success rate. The office uses state-of-the-art technology like CoolTouch and Syneron to achieve these results, and procedures are performed with the help of experienced ultrasound technicians to ensure high accuracy and fewer complications. The most common procedures Dr. Abboud performs include EVLT (Endo Vein Laser Treatment), Sclerotherapy and Laser Treatments for Spider and Varicose Veins, various types of vein ultrasound evaluations, Botox and Facial Fillers, as well as Photofacial and Laser Hair Removal.
Jawdat Abboud, MD, is board certified in Medicine and serves most of the southwest and northwest suburbs of Chicago through his three office locations. He is proud to serve the Latino, Indian, and Middle Eastern communities within those areas. Some of his patients even travel from northwest Indiana all the way to Crystal Lake to see him.
Dr. Abboud earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Damascus Faculty of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
In his spare time, Dr. Abboud enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is also involved in various activities in his local community, including human development, interfaith studies, and founding Boy Scout Troop 99.

I went to this doctor for dermal filler and left with a bleeding, infected face! Doctor refuses to refund my money. Now I am out of work for 10 days and on antibiotics. Stay away!

I'd give no stars if I could.
I had first appointment on a Saturday morning and he was over an hour late!!! Front desk girl kept sending him text messages and phone calls that he ignored until he was about 5 minutes away. Then when he got there, no apology from him. Very Rude!
Strangely enough, it turned into a bait and switch game and potential insurance fraud scam. I know I just had spider veins on my ankles I wanted removed. But he tried insisting that I have a full ultra-sound done and wanted my insurance, because they would pay for it. He was very insistent, condescending and rude! I acted dumb and first, but decided to go along and listen to his bragging about how he knew better then my own doctor. Finally I just told him it was the chance I'd take, I'd rather just try the laser treatments, and if it didn't work after the 4 sessions, I'd reconsider.
Just like the other person, I was given no glasses to wear. Also told I should have had some sort of lotion rubbed on my ankles first. But he didn't do either. It was like he enjoyed the pain it caused.
I set up a follow up appointment, but cancelled and refused to reschedule. Chalk the cost up to an expensive life lesson.
Seems to be only good for botox clients. So I recommend definitely avoiding for anything else and do not buy the Living Social or Amazon deals. Definitely just a ploy to get you in and try to get your insurance so he can run for costly and unnecessary procedures on you.
