“Dr. Yeager-Smith was the 4th Podiatrist I have seen for fungal nail infection, and the first to trim my toenails herself! That sold me immediately! Her medical asst. finished the job by filing them. The doctor assessed my situation and was able to answer every question that I asked, and added information that I didn’t know, like, where I could have picked this up from. Her answer was: anywhere; nail salon, on grass, on carpet, anywhere, because fungus is everywhere! She practices in a small office, so her staff is able to be very attentive, unlike the big practices I previously went to. She knew what the best medication is to treat my toenails with. FYI, it is a compounded treatment (not covered by insurance), so not every pharmacy can make it. I had to drive 30 mins. to the previous doctor, because he only uses the pharmacy in the big bldg. that he practices in. Dr. Yeager-Smith has sent the same medication to my local compounding pharmacy. She was pleasant and efficient. ”

About Dr. Lora Yeager-Smith
Dr. Lora Yeager-Smith is a board-certified podiatrist who has been in practice for over 30 years, providing specialized treatment for many foot and ankle issues.
Dr. Yeager-Smith attained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Alabama’s Auburn University, then received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Samuel Merrit University, California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1994. She went on to complete surgical residencies in Houston, Texas, and in Baltimore, Maryland. She is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
She ran her own podiatry clinics in Alabama for 20 years, where she treated a diverse population, including people with diabetes or those with significant medical conditions. She specializes in diabetic foot complications, nail and skin problems, musculoskeletal pain, foot fractures, Ledderhose disease, and surgical pathology. Additionally, Dr. Yeager-Smith specializes in the treatment of geriatric and other at-risk populations in patients’ own homes.
Dr. Yeager-Smith’s goal is to keep you on your feet and prevent future foot problems. In order to ensure small problems don’t turn into at-risk foot issues, she will take time to listen to you and complete a thorough examination so you both can determine the best treatment for your lifestyle.
Dr. Yeager-Smith returned to southern California to be closer to family, and she looks forward to treating you like family! She supports patients in both English and German.

Dr. Lora Yeager-Smith is so literally the best. She keeps it light by cracking jokes with me, telling me I’m “doing marvelously” when there’s any pain during procedures, and playing relaxing nature sounds so that I have something to focus my attention to. Her work always comes out beautifully, fixing any podiatry problems I have in one go. I can’t recommend her enough.
