Dr. Carlos R. Jones received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Howard University in 2001. He completed his general practice residency at Harlem Hospital Center, Kings County Hospital Center, and the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center before returning to the Washington, DC area. In 2004, Dr. Jones began working in private practice and later opened Stellar Smiles Dental Care in Southeast Washington, DC, in 2011.
Dr. Jones specializes in the placement of dental implants, with rigorous training and experience in understanding the dynamics of a smile, preserving a healthy mouth, and creating tooth replacements. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the International Dental Implant Association, both organizations that provide excellent continuing education for American dentists.
Committed to protecting the health and well-being of all District residents, young and old, Dr. Jones focuses on offering individualized care by providing thorough examinations and presenting patients with the most efficient and affordable options for their care.
When Dr. Jones is not creating smiles in his office, he is creating smiles through volunteer dental work and social betterment activities here in the United States and abroad. He also enjoys outdoor activities, working out, and spending time with his wife and family.
