With experience providing comprehensive and conservative treatment plans, Dr. Galina Yakovlev focuses on delivering personalized general dentistry care centered around each patient's needs and long-term oral health. Dr. Yakovlev graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the same institution. During dental school, she received awards for Excellence in Clinical Endodontics and Oral Biology in recognition of her strong academic and clinical achievements. She later completed a General Practice Residency at MHealth/University of Minnesota Medical Center, where she received advanced training in caring for medically complex patients. Dr. Galina regularly pursues continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry. Outside the office, Dr. Galina enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and their two daughters. Together, they love family road trips, trying new restaurants, and relaxing with movies and shows after busy days at home.
