Dr. Holly Hertel McKinney grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her BA from the University of Missouri, in Kansas City. After college she worked as a technician in a hospital cytology laboratory. During that period of her life, she represented her church on an outreach program to Jamaica. Since there were no hospital laboratories onsite in Jamaica, she assisted a dentist and it was then that she decided to pursue a career in the dental field. In 1999, she graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry and has worked as a private practitioner in Connecticut, Missouri, and Texas.
Outside of work, Dr. McKinney enjoys running, ballet class, and spending time with her family.
