Leslie-Anne Fitzpatrick, DMD, MPH, or 'Dr. Fitz' as she is affectionately known to her patients, is passionate about providing exceptional and comprehensive dental care, including preventative, restorative, and implant dentistry for patients of all ages. Dr. Fitz has spent months designing a beautiful, state-of-the-art new dental practice serving the communities of Petworth and the surrounding DC metro area.
Dr. Fitz is an active member of the American Dental Association and the DC Dental Society. Dr. Fitz continually strives for excellence in dentistry, and she is known for her gentle and caring approach to treating her patients.
Education
Dr. Fitz is a graduate of the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, she completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Howard University Hospital.
Outside of Work
Dr. Fitz is originally from Trinidad and Tobago and is happily married to her husband, Cudjoe and they dote on their toddler son. They are proud long-time residents of Petworth and you may see them on the weekend taking a stroll through the community. In her spare time, Dr. Fitz likes to do CrossFit, road cycling and spinning to stay healthy and shares a joint passion with her husband as an avid soccer fan.

The office is super cute and nice and they have water in the front for you. Everyone I spoke to was very competent and friendly. They took a lot of time to answer any questions and explain everything to me, which I appreciated. Highly recommend and I rarely give that stamp of approval. The whole experience was enjoyable even though going to the dentist isn’t always.

I had such a fantastic time with Dr. Fitzpatrick and her office. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a kind and friendly team of women at the front desk, and then met with my hygienist, Leila. Leila explained everything in detail to me, walked me through the cleaning, and was gentle - she also did an amazingly thorough job! Then I met Dr Fitzpatrick who also explained my health to me, made recommendations, and answered all questions. This office clearly values education, quality of care, and patient experience. Dr Fitzgerald was amazing! She took her time and explained the X-rays and images she took. She was very gentle in the cleaning and my mouth was refreshingly clean when she was done.

Wow! This dentist's office really blew me away. I didn't think I would enjoy going to the dentist this much. Everyone in the office was so friendly and welcoming. My dental hygienist and dentist did a great job of keeping me comfortable, informing me of what was happening, and taking me through my X-rays. The music they had in the office made me upbeat the entire visit. And the technology was so modern and cool, I really enjoyed talking about my oral health. Overall, I'm so happy with my experience that I'm switching my dentist permanently.

By far the best dentist experience I've ever had. It was like super clean, tech wonderland in there. Staff greeted me at the door, had my details, and remembered asking me for information prior. Waiting room was pleasant (though I barely had to wait) and everyone I interacted with was great. Even the music was fun. Probably a great place to start kids off if you think they might be afraid of the dentist. Will be going back.

Best experience at a dentist’s office yet! Front staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The hygienists took a lot of care into exploring my teeth and cleaned them carefully. The dentist explained everything as she did her inspection. Plus, the office is only a little over a year old. I cannot recommend this place enough.
