About Dr. Robert McBride

Hi! I'm Dr. McBride. I genuinely love what I do—from emergency visits to implants to simply getting to know my patients and making them feel comfortable and cared for. A little about me: I was born in Indianapolis but raised in Valparaiso, IN. I then went on to graduate from IU School of Dentistry with a D.D.S. degree. Go Hoosiers! I'm married to a fellow dentist, Dr. Chloe McBride, and we have two young daughters. When not at the office, I enjoy golf, hiking, reading, and cooking with my girls. I also try go on at least one service trip with my church every year. We have been to Guatemala, Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica. I would love if you came to visit us at Hoosier Family Dental! I work very hard to make sure your visit is friendly, professional, and pain-free.

It seems like this office really wants to get you to sign up for care credit! I go to the dentist every 6 months. My first time here, they acted like I was a feral human who had never seen a doctor's office. Immediately after my appointment, I was whisked into an office and told that my insurance really doesn't cover much of the work they wanted to do, I would need to pay out of pocket (and quite a bit) for everything they recommended. I tried to say that a credit card would not be necessary, but they were definitely trying to sell, sell, sell--maybe based on my appearance they thought I could not afford it? Regardless, I went to another dentist where my insurance magically did cover these procedures (that is if they thought I needed all of them, which they highly doubted).
