Born and raised in New York, Dr. Sylvia is passionate about improving the oral health and confidence of her patients. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Following this, she completed a one year General Practice Residency program at NYC Health+Hospital Queens, gaining valuable experience in providing comprehensive dental care. Dr. Sylvia is deeply committed to helping individuals achieve optimal dental health and empowering them with a smile they can confidently share. When she's not in the office, Dr. Sylvia enjoys traveling to new destinations and spending quality time with her family and friends.

My visit was absolutely amazing! Dr. Rutkowski provided a comforting, relaxed and smooth experience. She has hands or gold! I only trust Dr. Rutkowski with my dental care. The front desk & assistants were amazing as well! They oven offered me coffee :) Love POC!

Amazing service hands down, I didn’t have dental coverage but they still took care of me at no cost, they took xrays and prescribed antibiotics. The doctor and staff are extremely nice.

I visited the practice for my 6 month cleaning. The dentist found 2 spots that needed filling due to enamel erosion from liquids. I am very pleased with the fillings I received from this dental office. I intend on staying patient of Preferred Dental Care.
