About Dr. Thanh-Truc Le
Dr. Truc Le is an experienced cosmetic dentist who puts the needs of her patients first. She serves the Garland area with her cutting-edge knowledge about the latest dental devices. Her gentle and comforting care creates an ideal environment for TruCare Dental patients.
Dr. Le attended dental school at Texas A&M's Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. She then worked as an associate dentist in Dallas to study the structure and care provided in a dental practice to start her own. Dr. Le continues educating herself to expand her dental knowledge through books, classes, and seminars.
Dr. Le began her own practice with the launch of TruCare Dental, which she now runs successfully with a supportive team. She treats patients of all ages using various types of dental services, like dental implants, veneers, teeth whitening, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, tooth extraction, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, etc. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Academy of GP Orthodontics, and the Dallas County Dental Society. I appreciated Dr. Le's thoroughness in explaining to me what she found on the X-rays and what should be done about them. The tooth cleaning hurt a little, but that was to be expected.

I was very pleased with my experience and would highly recommend that anyone needing a dentist visit Dr. Le. The building itself has a sign on the front of it "TruCare Dental" of an appropriate size but it doesn't face the road which could make it hard to find. It is in the plaza on the west side of 1st st (across the street from CVS pharmacy). The staff is friendly. I was seen at my exact appointment time, no waiting. I was not looking forward to the cleaning or the 2 fillings that I knew I needed (normally painful for me). The consultation was a pleasant suprise. The dentist gently examined my teeth. This is the only dentist I found who could give me an exam where my gums DIDN'T bleed. The cleaning was just as gentle. Dr. Le carefully performed the cleaning and fillings. The assistants were very helpful at explaining the costs and insurance. They also were responsive during the fillings and cleaning. It makes it a lot more comfortable for the patient when an assistant can recognize what you need (rinse, etc...) without needing to be asked. The quality of work was very good as well. After the fillings were complete I was asked how they felt (to see if they needed to be shaped any more). I am very happy with the service I recieved.

I appreciate Dr. Le's and Dr. Phan's thoroughness and concern for my comfort and well-being. During the entire visit, their primary focus was being sure that I understood exactly what needed to be done, and what I could expect during the root canal and subsequent visits. I have already recommended Dr. Le to family members and have always been pleased with the level of care from both dentists and staff.

In the past, I had a bad experience with my old dentist and I was terrified prior coming to Dr. Le's office. Unfortunately, I was greeted with warmed welcome from the staffs and Dr. Le. The office is looking new and modern, and so are the equipments.
I had my deep cleaning and a few extractions from Dr. Le. She treated me with such gentle cares and professionalism. She was knowledgeable and explaining all the procedures before she began working on them. She really made me feel at ease… Not only Dr. Le did an exceptional job for my dental needs, she really took away my fear of going to dentist for a long time. I’d strongly suggest Dr. Le to anyone; give her a chance and you’ll see what I mean.

Dr. Truc Le was not very gentle. She seemed very knowledgeable and competent but not gentle or compassionate. Although she did warn of some discomfort and pain during my filling, I experienced one excruciating pain. I told her I'd rather take her advice and come back after Id used the prescribed toothpaste she commenced to give me an "I told you so" attitude once I felt unbearable pain instead of showing compassion or just simply a nicer attitude. There are no doors on the individual rooms. several times during my filling she was interrupted by OTHER PATIENTS needing things like papers signed or answers to questions. I felt incredibly uneasy considering shes using sharp objects like needles and drills inside my mouth and people could walk up and beging talking or anything during such a tedious and delecate procedure. I felt incredibly nervous.

I appreciated the professionalism of Dr. Le and her staff. Everyone treated me with courtesy and thoughtfulness, and I appreciated Dr. Le's thoroughness in explaining what needed to be done. She even called me personally the next day to check on my progress.

I had a different doctor today, he was incredible. I watched Lifetime while he finished my fillings. I felt no pain, he was polite, patient and funny. I will suggest that all of my friends visit him! Thank you!

I went to TruCare Dental for a cleaning on the recommendation of a friend. I was very pleased w/the profesionalism and the level of detail that was given to me. The Dr. was very detail in explaining what she was going to do before she did it and put me at ease. She took her time and was very thorough w/my cleaning. I will definitely be keeping my future appt at this office.
