About Adara Mifsud
Adara Mifsud, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant licensed in New York State, specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a Bioethics Minor from Fordham University in the Bronx. Post-graduation, she gained valuable hands-on dermatological experience as a Mohs Surgical Assistant for a Long Island practice. She then went on to complete her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies at St. John’s University’s rigorous program. While in PA school, Adara gained advanced healthcare training in her clinical rotations throughout the NYC boroughs and Long Island area.
Being a part of The Dermatology Specialists, Adara Mifsud completed months of training in the TDS fellowship program under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Choudhury and many of the other highly experienced TDS providers. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, as well as the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, after completing the SDPA Diplomate Fellowship Program.
Adara is very passionate about providing individualized and quality care for all her patients. Her comprehensive and detail-oriented approach is reflected with every patient encounter. She is notable for her warm and friendly personality that allows her patients to always feel welcome and comfortable every time they are seen.
On her days off, Adara enjoys spending time with her friends and family back home on Long Island, go to Yankee games, and try all the amazing food NYC has to offer.

Everyone was very friendly and most importantly patient. The PA allowed me to freak out for a few minutes before performing the biopsy on my foot and was very thorough. This was my very first annual skin exam and I would highly recommend to anyone who is a big baby.
