About Dr. Ahmed Aslam
I recognize the importance of a patient-centered medical experience, which inspires me to create strong and long-lasting bonds with each of my patients. It’s a privilege to serve the community of New York by providing quality medical care. I aim to achieve this goal through sound medical advice, responsible diagnostic tests and procedures.
I completed my Internal Medicine residency SUNY Downstate/Long Island College School of Medicine, Brooklyn, New York. I completed my Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, NY. I spent the first three years of my professional career as consultant in Prestigious Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN. During the same period, I also served as the Chair of Cardiovascular Diseases at Mayo Clinic Health System, La Crosse, WI. I moved back to NY in 2013 and have been serving the community since then.
I am a Fellow of American College of Cardiology and hold Board certification in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. I had the honor of completing my Vascular Ultrasound training from Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA and currently hold Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation® (RPVI®) Certification.

Giving 1 star because I didn’t even see the doctor. I walked into this tiny closet of a waiting room that was jam packed like sardines. Even more people showed up after me, and they were all scheduled the same time as me!!!! I asked they were all there for the same dr, which they responded yes. I said so I should expect 1-2 hr wait time? They nodded, so I walked out. I understand it’s the weekend, but how can you schedule ATLEAST 4 people for the same time slot with only one dr available?

Doctor Aslam is an amazing doctor. I had a million questions and concerns and got them all addressed. He truly cares about his patients. He took all the necessary steps and tests to get to the root cause. The front reception staff are also very nice, warm, and welcoming. They are always on top of things with follow-ups and calls.

The Doctor is very friendly and takes time to explain the situation though I don't agree with him that my BP is not under control. My BP was high during my visit which was quite unusual most likely the highest I have had this year for I check my BP every other day
