Aimee has been helping new mothers successfully breastfeed their babies since she had her own first baby, over 26 years ago. She has been a Registered Nurse since 1998 and began working in the hospital setting as a maternal newborn and nursery nurse in 2006. Aimee spent countless hours in that position, assisting new mothers in overcoming breastfeeding hurdles. She developed a strong passion for offering moms evidence-based education regarding breastfeeding. It was there that she realized the deficit of support that new mothers receive during their breastfeeding journey and began to pursue formal education towards becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), the highest designation available for Lactation Consultants. She was excited to achieve this in 2012 and was the only RN, IBCLC at her hospital for the next 4 years. After this position, Aimee began employment at the Glens Falls Hospital Snuggery, as a part-time Lactation Consultant, and continues to be employed there, where she loves serving her community.
Aimee lives in Gansevoort, NY. Among the many joys of raising her children, she was blessed to successfully breastfeed all three. Aimee enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, enjoying the great outdoors, reading, and snuggling with her Australian Cattle Dog, Lucas.

Aimee is amazing. I reached out to her through email and she responded very quickly. She’s truly amazing at what she does! She guided me through breast refusal and tongue tie exercises. I HIGHLY recommend her to other women around the area! We need more people like Aimee on our community!

Aimee was incredible! She helped me try to meet my breastfeeding goals and always put my daughters health first. She was very encouraging and realistic. I have nursed 7 children and have met with multiple lactation consultants and Aimee was by far the best. I highly recommend her!

Aimee has been a wonderful resource for all my and my babies' lactation needs over the past 5 years! She is knowledgeable and no question is off limits with her! She has always made me feel comfortable and cared for as a new mother since she herself is a mother and has huge empathy for all things mothering. She is fantastic!

As a first time mom who had no idea what she was doing I wish I had found Aimee sooner. I struggled to breastfeed my baby she wouldn't want to get on the boob so I opted for pumping. About two months PP I gave up because I was feeling overwhelmed and perhaps because I didn't have the adequate support. I decided I wanted to relactate but had no idea where to begin or what options I had. I was very nervous about this journey and with one meeting with Aimee it all changed I felt optimistic and like I could achieve the result I wanted. She thoroughly discussed all my options and provided me with resources that would be helpful on this journey. Her professionalism, knowledge, and ability to listen to any concerns have already made this journey an enjoyable one. If you are looking for a lactation consultant look no further Aimee is a great choice!
