About Dr. Alan Sloyer

Dr. Sloyer is an award-winning photographer specializing in travel, landscape, and street photography. He has been fortunate to travel to unique destinations and experience adventures in more than 75 countries across all seven continents. His photos have appeared in notable publications such as The New York Times, New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, and Shutterbug magazine. Dr. Sloyer earned his Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital and pursued a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. In addition to photography, Dr. Sloyer enjoys golf, yoga, spinning, swimming, and weight training. He has raised funds for colorectal cancer education, research, and patient support by organizing Spin-a-thons (fitness charity events) and through gallery sales of his photography.
