“This was my first experience with a dermatologist. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. I didn’t have to wait very long before being seen. The office waiting area was roomy with plenty of seats to choose from. The exam room was also spacious and the assistant made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The doctor was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful by explaining what she was going to do before doing it. I would highly recommend this facility and Doctor if you have an issue relating to your skin. About Dr. Alexandra Charos
Dr. Alexandra Charos, a New Hampshire native, completed her dermatology residency at the University of Vermont in Burlington, serving as co-chief resident. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Harvard College prior to attending medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed an internship in pediatrics at Cohen Children’s Medical Center at Northwell Health, the largest children’s hospital in New York. In addition to her clinical training, she earned her Ph.D. from Yale University in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine in the field of melanoma research. Dr. Charos is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, with special clinical interests in dermatologic surgery, general dermatology, and pediatric dermatology.?Outside of medicine, Dr.?Charos?enjoys painting, reading, raising chickens, and spending time with her niece and nephews.
