“I had an excellent treatment from Dr. Amani Alsheikh and her team. She was warm and very clear about all the information. I had enough time and confidence to ask questions about my health and the procedures to her, but I didn't feel the same way with the reception and blood testing personnel. Everything happened so quickly that I didn't fully understand what they said or what they wanted from me. Anyway, despite feeling a little bit lost with them (maybe because I'm new to this medical system), I will come back because Dr. Amani was so professional.”

Dr. Kwaider, especially, went through my medical and family history in detail with me as well as some of my concerns and recommended procedures and advice that I found very helpful and insightful. About Dr. Amani Alsheikh Kwaider
Dr. Kwaider was born and raised in Damascus, Syria, where she completed her medical education at Damascus University, Faculty of Medicine. She then underwent specialized training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Delivery & Women’s Diseases Hospital in Damascus.
After moving to the United States with her family, Dr. Kwaider completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale New Haven Health Bridgeport Hospital.
Dr. Kwaider is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care, supporting women through all phases of their health journey. From contraception counseling and pregnancy care to addressing gynecological concerns, she combines medical expertise with a compassionate and understanding approach.
Outside of her professional practice, Dr. Kwaider enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as cooking, walking, and traveling.

Dr. Kwaider was absolutely wonderful! I've been to a few OBGYNs and have not always had the best experience, and she was by far the best I've been to. She made sure I was as comfortable as possible, while patiently answering my (many) questions, and carrying out a minor procedure while ensuring I was aware of what was happening every step of the way.
