About Amy Dahl

This provider is not licensed in the states of CT, TX, MD and WA. Amy Dahl is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) at Culina Health, specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, intuitive eating, improving relationships with food and body image, and oncology. Amy earned her MS in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Long Island University, Brookville, where she completed her Dietetic Internship. Additionally, she attended Boston College for her undergraduate studies. Amy was inspired to become a registered dietitian after witnessing a family member with diabetes recover from an episode of dangerously low blood sugar through proper nutrition. From that moment on, she knew she wanted to help people by teaching them about food and how it impacts their health. With over 15 years of experience as a registered dietitian nutritionist in inpatient and outpatient settings, Amy still loves what inspired her to pursue dietetics in the first place—providing education and making meaningful connections with her patients and their families. Before joining the Culina Health team, Amy worked at Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center.

Nope- wild fan and Amy is an absolute delight! Thank you!!
None Amy Dahl has been one of the best RD’s I have seen in ED recovery and I always leaving feeling so much better.
Amy is incredible and has been really helpful in my recovery journey. Truly appreciate her!
Honestly, I can't think of a thing! Amy is a rockstar and has been so helpful to me on my journey bettering my relationship with food.
Amy is very knowledgeable, kind and has always made me feel very safe and understood. She is HAES aligned and has a vast knowledge of how to treat eating disorders. I would absolutely recommend Amy for anyone struggling with and eating disorder or disordered eating.
Our teen daughter, suffering from anorexia restrictive, has been seeing Amy for several months now. Before Amy, our daughter had seen two other RD’s but neither was able to really understand our daughters needs. Now after meeting with Amy, once weekly, for about 4 months, our daughter has a much healthier relationship with food and wants to eat. She has taught our daughter to love not fear food. My husband and I have 25 questions after every session and she never rushes us or ignores our concerns. She is thorough and patient and we feel lucky to have her on our daughters treatment team!
If you are looking for an amazing dietitian and/or nutritionist, look no further! I have struggled with an eating disorder for over twenty years. Yes, a big part of trying to recover from an ED is the actual food/nutrition/meal plan (all areas in which Amy is highly knowledgeable), but an even bigger part of the ED battle has NOTHING to do with food (another area in which Amy excels in). Amy has helped me tremendously throughout my recovery journey. She is someone who will listen and work with you to overcome all of your food goals (even if you don’t have any to begin with), and can help guide you through any fears that are centered around food. She is someone who is easy to talk to and whom you can trust completely. Amy’s experience and expertise with eating disorders helped me through the darkest and most difficult times of my life. I am forever grateful for her and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help!
