About Andrea Platzman

Andrea Platzman is a registered dietitian, a New York State certified nutritionist and a Pennsylvania licensed nutritionist. For more than 20 years Andrea has counseled individuals and families to manage their GI conditions, weight, diabetes and many other health conditions. She also helped clients create individually tailored and realistic nutrition and lifestyle programs to meet their unique needs and goals during various life stages including pregnancy and lactation, childhood and adolescence as well as menopause. Andrea received a Masters' of Science in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. Her Bachelor of Science in Marketing was from the Stern School of Business (NYU). She is also a graduate of the Designs For Health Institute, where she received her certification in holistic nutrition. Through the American Dietetic Association, Andrea received the certification in Adult Weight Management. In 1998, Andrea was awarded Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year for New York State. Andrea received her clinical training from New York's Presbyterian Hospital. Live-Love-Eat is her motto. You should enjoy your food but remember that everyday is not Thanksgiving.
