About Dr. Andrew Hancock
I am very happy to say that our Chiropractic team has seen and continues to see more patients than any other chiropractic office in Washington D.C. The reasons are many: #1 We get results (see our Google reviews); #2 We always put our patients first (we are here to serve YOU, not the other way around); #3 We have a friendly and caring staff that will answer all your questions or concerns related to your insurance plan (and submit your claims); #4 We are available six days a week with early and late appointment times, with either a male or a female chiropractor. We also have top massage therapists on staff.
I can relate to my patients' back issues. I first experienced chiropractic care while working out five nights a week at a very competitive kung fu school. A good friend of mine was seeing a chiropractor and noticed that I was still having problems with my back from a 10-year-old injury. I took my friend's advice and went to see his chiropractor. Within six weeks of intensive care, I went from experiencing back pain seven days a week to once every three weeks, and my kung fu got better. My hands and feet were faster, and my hips more flexible. This life-changing experience because of chiropractic care motivated me to become a chiropractor and help others like myself.
I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College. Beyond treating patients in our office, I have performed ergonomic evaluations at local businesses and instructed personal trainers on proper exercise techniques. I look forward to helping you!

Great experience so far. Doctor was very attentive and helped already, need to go to couple more follow up visits to help with my lower back pain. But overall a great impression so far. Office stuff was extremely helpful!

I have chronic issues with lower back pain and have worked with a primary practitioner for many years. My regular provider was out for the Christmas/New Year holiday and I was in need of help immediately. Dr. Hancock was able to see me the same day as well as the following to help me out. He also followed up the first night with a phone call to check in an see how I was doing. This was a great experience with a new practice.

I was really ambivalent to see a chiropractor, but decided to book an appointment with Dr. Hancock on zocdoc when my back pain got really bad.
I had the best experience with Dr. Hancock and his office- the receptionists were helpful, friendly, and Dr. Hancock is excellent.
He spent a lot of time with me, listening to my concerns and then coming up with a plan of treatment that I was comfortable with. He also gives his patients his cell phone number and encourages them to call him for any reason, at any time (which is unheard of, but awesome!).
I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Hancock to all of my friends, and to anyone that needs a chiropractor. Thanks, ZocDoc, for helping me find him!

Even though I filled out the paperwork online through ZocDoc, I ended up having to fill out the forms again in person anyway, which was frustrating and took about 20 minutes. However, Dr. Hancock was great. He explained everything in an understandable way and made me feel comfortable while checking my back.

I absolutely love Dr. Hancock! My lower back has been hurting for over a year but nothing seems to "fix" the pain. I've gone to sports medicine doctors, physical trainers, etc. but haven't seen results. In my last half marathon my hip started killing me, which is when I stared visiting Friendship Heights Chiropractors. I feel results! Thank you :)
