I am Dr. Bernice Ivoko, DNP, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Touro University Nevada, completed a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at National University, and hold a Master's in Nursing from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. I am passionate about delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals facing a wide range of behavioral and mental health challenges, regardless of their background. I deeply value and respect the rights of those I serve, striving to provide care in a climate of trust and respect while honoring everyone's personal values, beliefs, and preferences.
I have a distinguished background in healthcare and a profound dedication to patient care, which has shaped me into someone known for strong interpersonal communication skills, a high level of empathy, and patience. I combine these qualities with analytical skills and the ability to assess complex situations effectively.
During our first encounter, I will do my best to understand your situation and ensure that you understand me. I conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including psychosocial assessments and risk assessments.

I waited for an hour but Dr. Ivoko did not show up to my appointment. When I called her office I got a voicemail box. I do not know if she is still practicing, or why this happened.
