About Dr. Brian Berry

Dr. Berry has been serving the Bolingbrook community at Pearle Vision since 2002. He graduated Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2001, earning his Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Berry believes in and enjoys focusing on preventative healthcare. With the aid of high-tech equipment, he is able to detect many pathologies of the eye, such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other serious and chronic conditions. Dr. Berry also conducts LASIK consultations.

The doctor gave a thorough eye check and helped me find better contacts, so there were no issues there, it was the bedside manner. He has a sarcastic sense of humor and even though he asked how my day was, he responded with a "boo hoo" and that teachers get too much time off. It down hill from there with the comments about topics we were talking about has some kind of sarcastic joke, or like he had to "one up" everything. I left the appointment feeling drained and not wanting to see that doctor anymore.

First time seeing this provider, and using Zoc Doc. Less than impressed with both the doctor and the practice. My curious and friendly 5 yo seemed to annoy the doctor, with him making passive aggressive comments throughout our appointments. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable at an eye appointment. Decided to purchase our contacts and glasses elsewhere. Would not recommend.
