Craig was born in New Jersey and raised in sunny South Florida by his father, a musician, and his mother, a registered nurse, along with his older sister, who is also a registered nurse and Army veteran. His first career was in the restaurant world. He then decided to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Barry University and promptly began travel nursing to places such as Hawaii, Jacksonville, Orlando, and Washington, DC. He settled in the DMV area and proceeded to earn his master’s degree in Family Nursing from Chamberlain University. He resides in Springfield with his wife and their two cats.
In his spare time, Craig is a foodie who enjoys discovering new and interesting restaurants in the DMV. He is a voracious reader and enjoys seeing live music in small venues. Craig watches and attends games to support his childhood teams: the Miami Dolphins, Florida Panthers, Miami Marlins, Miami Heat, and the University of Miami Hurricanes. He recently caught an incurable case of Caps fever. He is also an avid New York Times crossword puzzle enthusiast, viewing crossword puzzles as training for his ultimate goal: appearing on the game show Jeopardy!
