Danny was born and raised in Olympia. Washington. He went to college in Tacoma, WA where he received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Pacific Lutheran University. He ran for the track team at PLU and occasionally ran into the hurdles (has the scar to prove it). He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2013 and completed residency at Seattle Children’s Hospital in 2016. He worked in Alaska for 2 years and determined that he is best suited to stay in Seattle. He has worked in primary care in North Seattle for the 5 years leading up to his joining Swedish West Seattle. He lives with his wife, Stephanie, his toddler son, and small and large versions of fluffy poodle mixes, named after his favorite places in Washington. He loves gardening, trivia, singing karaoke, and telling jokes that make you groan.
