“Delaney was very knowledgeable and personable and helped me understand my issue. She was also able to address it in the office! The set up for Humboldt Park Health Center is confusing and time-consuming. Hard to find the office and once there, had to go to get x-rays before my appointment on another floor. The x-ray area is a mess...crowded, messy, only one person to check you in, take/give you paperwork, who then walks you to the x-ray room. That was about 45 mins, so bring your patience.”

I’m sure she’s a decent doctor, but the appointment felt rushed and didn’t feel comfortable with her. Seem to brush aside my concerns and honestly just felt like I was a number there. I had been dealing with this pain for a little over a year and she made it sound like it was no big deal but also didn’t have a solution for any pain relief. She recommended physical therapy and told me during session that I should not expect results before 2-3 months but then gave me a referral for only 12 session (basically only a month of PT). I felt like this was a ploy for my insurance to only cover that amount so I’d have to come back to see her and then get another prescription or else it won’t be covered. Over all just didn’t felt heard or taken care of.

A real problem with my prescription, She sent script to Walgreen, and When I i got home and checked and they never received Ny script. I called the office at 800 am and they took info, but no one called back, I called at 11 and was put into voicemail, and then again right before 5. So here I sit no script, and no one will call me or Walgreens,

The Physician was amazing and my appointment was very quick. She listened and was very kind. I received an injection and it didn't hurt at all! Will make this my primary orthopedic doctor!

Staff was friendly and attentive. I saw two providers including Delaney and they were genuinely attentive and compassionate. They included me in my decision for treatment as opposed to talking at me. Most importantly they had immediate openings. I would have had to wait a week to see a specialist at Loyola losing precious healing time. Thank you Genesis!

The first receptionist did not actually check me in after speaking with her. Over an hour after my appointment time and multiple people that came in after me were seen, I finally talked to the new receptionist and there was a look of panic when he went to see the computer if I had been checked in or not. He apologized and said I would be the next patient called, I was not. Another patient came and went and finally I was called back an hour and 15 min after appointment time. No one confessed to making the mistake or did anything other than say “sorry about the wait” as if it was just a general wait time for a doctor. The PA herself was extremely nice and communicative with me during my time with her but front desk staff left me a bit bitter on the office.
