X-rays can be done at the office. Dr Herman was very clear about what happens next, and he answered all our questions.

10 mins appointment took a lot of time. Doctor was good.
Waiting time during the appointment was a little long.
Doctor was kind and attentive, little to no wait time.
Verified patient
Very attentive doctor.
I waited over 2 hours! The doctors bedside manner was awful! I called prior to my appointment and asked if they did X-rays, and I was told yes. He tells me no, they don't do X-rays!! His course of treatment was ridiculous!! I wouldn't recommend anyone going there!

This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had with a doctor. I went for a knee problem. He told me I was fat. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.
Very thorough examination. Very friendly staff.

Dr. Heitman was friendly and thorough.

Unfortunately I've been to a lot of orthopedists for injuries and know the drill. Dr. Heitman was knowledgable and confident. So far so good! Staff was pleasant and efficient, verified appointment time.
Verified patient
Great Doctor who listens to your concerns.
Verified patient
I was very pleased with my visit, everyone was helpful! Dr. Heitman gave me his time, attention, and his help with my problem...I would refer him to everyone I know. Thank You

Doctor is very knowledgeable and helpful. The wait times have been consistently long. This has been the longest wait time. Took me in 4:15 PM for a 3:30. It is now 5:31 and have not seen the doctor yet
Wait time was Worst...I was waiting in a room without any updates from the receptionist..finally I had to leave the hospital without seeing the doctor...Even in my previous appointments I had to wait for more than an hour and today it turned out to be even worst...I see no sense in scheduling an appointment.
Very professional. Great sports focus and geared my treatment around what I wanted in order to continue to compete in my sport. Understands people who train and compete and what's important in recovery. Glad I came here
Very knowledgable and quick to get to a diagnosis. He gets a PA to see you first and go over the particulars, so as not to waste your time.
yes...PA came in first then doc after my xrays...normal amoutn of witing time for a specialst. doc gave me amount of time that i needed answered all my questions, various tests.

they should not offer 8 AM appts, or could have at least called to tell me office was not opening until later - unprofessional for multiple patients to be sitting in an empty office. they blamed traffic but i came from NJ and had no trouble so this excuse is unacceptable. was very confused about where to go and the phone number did not know he worked at this address. also, was sent for an unnecessary x-ray next door and was left alone to change with a computer logged in! the MA did not even bother to log out or close out another patient's chart, luckily i am not a thief - but that is very careless and anti-hipaa.
Bedside manner was poor. He really didnt take enough time to really understand my complaint. Not going back for my follow up. Plus, never got a call to confirm my appointment.
Incredibly long wait time. Doctor was nice, but to wait 1.5 hrs for a 5 minute visit is pretty ridiculous. While I was waiting I heard him outside my door having social conversations with his colleagues. Boo.
Their location in NYC is up and coming, so I understand that the office was extremely sparse and there would be a few hiccups. However, they use the urgent care next door for X-Rays, so I had to pay two co-pays - think they should have notified me about this when I confirmed the appointment. Also - Dr. Heitman splinted me up and had me report back in a few weeks with no indication or what the problem was (besides that is was not broken) or what the next steps could be - think there could have been some more thoroughness esp considering the wait.
The visit went great.
Very good visit. Very attentive doctor. Good advice. Improvement recommended - the documents filled out on zocdoc aren't the ones they use themselves (so you still need to fill out a few pages of docs). Would be much more efficient if the docs filled out online are the ones they could use. Also - still a mix up with my prescription. Never got phoned in to pharmacy and still waiting for a call back to remedy after two phone calls in two days. Operations within office seem to need some fine tuning, albeit everyone is very nice.
Great
