Dr. Elisa Alvarado brings a fresh take on Internal Medicine to Pasadena. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed her residency at Huntington Hospital. Located in the beautiful 630 South Raymond Building, her new office and great staff are warm and inviting. Dr. Alvarado has been serving the community of Pasadena since 2005 with a gentle touch and special attention to detail.

Dr. Alvarado is the best Dr. I've ever had. She makes me feel at ease and my time with her has never felt rushed. I feel comfortable telling her about any health concern. She is also proactive about ruling out any possible diseases.

Really great experience with Dr. Alvarado- I did not wait very long to see her and she was really nice and answered all of my questions and offered options. I would definitely recommend her and will be coming back for future issues.

I thought Dr. Alvarado was very nice, very professional. If you want a really good doctor, I don't think you can do better in the LA area.
I would give her excellent ratings except I had a doctor in salt Lake city that I LOVED. She and I had a rapport that I never developed with Dr. Alvarado, but I think that was only because I wasn't there long enough and didn't really have any reason to see her. My old doctor saw me thru the death of my mother (she was my mom's primary care physician as well) and so it just really forged a bond.
That being said, Dr. Alvarado was VERY nice, and i think I can recommend her very highly.

On my first visit with Dr. Alvarado she was so friendly and helpful. She really put me at ease about my health concerns and gave great advice. I was in and out relatively quickly without feeling rushed. Her staff was very nice and professional. I have found my new doctor that I will be with for a long time!

I went for a Pre-Op appt and she was very thorough in asking questions not just about medical check ups directly related to the surgery, but checked me out for other issues or complications that could come up. She even called my surgeon on the spot to ensure she didnt miss anything. She really resolved my fears about having surgery. Great bedside manner.

Dr. Alvarado was extremely friendly and made you feel comfortable talking to her. She's very positive and understanding as well which is great! The medical history forms etc before you go in to see her were quite long though but overall I feel that the more she knows about you the better she can understand and help you.
Will definitely come back and make her my general doctor!

I feel so lucky to have such a great Dr! Knowledgeable, caring, takes time with you and really listens! Her staff is great too. A doctor like this is almost unheard of in this day and age! Personal attention, great care, apps scheduled with ample time, office runs on time- unbelievably great! She is the best!
