About Elizabeth Hwang
Liz Hwang, MSN, NP-C, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University and her Master of Science in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nursing from New York University.
Liz has always had a passion for dermatology. She began her career as a medical assistant in a dermatology practice while completing her nursing degree. During her master's program, she worked as a dermatology registered nurse. Currently, she is dedicated to treating her patients and helping them achieve their individualized skin goals. Liz sees patients with a variety of dermatologic conditions, including eczema, acne, rosacea, hair loss, psoriasis, and more.
In her free time, she enjoys trying new cuisines and restaurants, spending time with her family, and playing tennis.

I searched for a service that was supposedly done by the provider. When I went in, she told me that I would have to be sent to another office for the procedure. The provider was knowledgeable and seemed genuine though.
The wait was over 30 minutes but the staff were leisurely gossiping about their coworkers. The waiting area was stuffy too. I felt like my whole visit was a waste and because I haven’t met my deductible yet, this comes out of pocket. I recommend calling ahead to see if the service is actually provided before booking. Not sure if it’s an error on Zocdoc’s end or the office’s end.

My appointment went well. The provider listen to my issue and inspected it well. She even went to look at other parts of the body to make sure and give me a clear understanding. She also listen to other issues I had even though i wasn’t there for them and helped to solve those also. Overall I had a wonderful experience.
