Emma Feeney, PA-C of First Medical Associates, is a physician assistant serving patients in Nottingham, MD. She graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore's PA Program in 2023 and earned her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Towson University in 2020. Prior to becoming a PA, Emma worked as a respite care provider and medical scribe. Emma is passionate about treating her patients holistically and providing thorough patient education to equip them to advocate for their own health. In her free time, Emma enjoys cooking, hiking, reading, and playing pickleball and tennis with her husband. Emma's special interests include women's health, preventative medicine, and dermatology.

I had a wonderful experience with Emma today. She was very thorough, kind, patient, and informative. Her bedside manner was excellent. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I had what I needed before leaving. I really appreciated that she arranged for my lab testing to be completed onsite, saving me from having to visit another facility. I’m truly grateful for her compassion and knowledge during this challenging time.

This office was great! From the moment I entered I felt really comfortable. I was getting “woman issues” looked at and the entire time she made sure I was comfortable and felt safe and wasn’t in pain. She listened to my concerns, even about having PMDD (which a lot of providers don’t take seriously) and gave me a vitamin regimen to try. I had a 10/10 experience with her and I’m grateful that I switched my primary care here!

This doctor is PERFECT for young adults. I am new to the area and this was my first appointment and it went so smoothly. Emma was very empathetic and listened to my concerns as well as asked questions to get a better understanding. The front desk staff and nurses were both very kind and quick to get me checked in. I would highly recommend this practice, especially Emma!

The doctor herself was very friendly and answered my questions and concerns. The only thing that bothered me was when I arrived I didn’t receive a greeting. When I walked in I greeted the receptionist because she did not greet me. Didn’t even bother to say hello to me just went straight to ask me what my name was and check me in. Th doctor then took me to the phlebotomist to get my blood drawn and again when i walked in the lady didn’t even acknowledge I was there she was doing something else but she didn’t even say, I’ll be right with you have a seat or even said hello nothing. I had to say hello to her first. And then just sat there for a while. As a doctor’s office my expectations are to be in a warm friendly environment. And i get it maybe they were having an off day or even because my appointment was late in the afternoon so their energy was low but you still expect to be greeted whenever you go anywhere. Overall my experience was not bad.

Was likely one of the first patients of the day but arrived 30 minutes early to my appointment and was seen right away. Emma asked relevant questions, explained clearly what she was doing and what to expect from results and follow-up, and made sure to validate my symptoms and direct me in the proper direction for testing and to check all our boxes. Dr. Feeney was so sweet! I was actually super nervous coming in with bloodwork results, so I felt like I was firing away loads of questions at her, but she was so sweet and understanding. She really gave me peace of mind by the time I hopped off our call. Highly recommend her, she was awesome!

She was very nice, attentive and listened to all my concerns. The issues I had were addressed and a plan of action was put in place almost immediately. I have not had that type of experience in a very long time and it was refreshing and put me at ease. My test results came back and she called me to address the concerns I had and explain things as well, which was great. I highly recommend her based on my initial first experience.
