Our doctor believes she can be concisely described by two main characteristics. She is inherently attuned to alleviating the pain and discomfort of those suffering around her and fascinated with beauty. These are the two pillars on which she has built her career. Dr. Galstian’s training in osteopathic medicine and manipulation gave her the toolbox for treating her patients with full consideration of how an ailment affects the whole body.
The beauty of the human body goes far beyond aesthetics in being functional. Healthy skin is beautiful skin; a thin waist indicates that fat deposits haven’t invaded the organs; good posture provides not only ease and flexibility of movement but also better functioning of the nervous system. The benefits of beauty are numerous. Its connection to good health is too obvious to Dr. Galstian. As a physician, she combines expertise with compassion and precision, and most importantly, humility in treating each individual.
Dr. Galstian is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. She completed her internship at Maimonides Medical Center and her Family Practice Residency at Peninsula Hospital Center.
