About Forest Urgent Care - Forest Hills
Forest Urgent Care – Forest Hills and Long Island City is a walk-in medical clinic with offices conveniently located in both the heart of Forest Hills and Long Island City, Queens. Our offices are ready to serve your immediate medical needs while offering quality, convenience and value that compliment your primary care in a timely manner.
WALK-INS ARE WELCOME! ALL MAJOR INSURANCES ACCEPTED.
NO FAULT AND WORKER’S COMP ACCEPTED
We are open 7 days a week:
Monday through Friday – 9am to 7pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm
Major Holiday Hours – 10am to 5pm (please call to confirm holidays, if needed)
• Easy access by subway, bus and LIRR
• Low rate and co-payment compared to ER visits
We offer state of the art equipment that includes X-Ray machines and EKG machines on premises, plus ultrasound services (as needed). We are able to provide certain lab tests on site, as well as, have access to various labs for multiple services.
Services we offer include (but are not limited to):
•Urgent Care Medical Services such as:
•Minor Injuries/Lacerations
•Minor Fractures/Dislocations
•Colds/Flu/Strep
•Dehydration (IV services available as needed)
•UTIs/Rashes
•STD (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) screening and testing
•EKGs and X-Rays
•PPD/Tuberculin placement and reading
•Seasonal Flu Vaccines
•Travel Consultation and Vaccines by appointment only
•DOT Physicals (aka FMCSA Medical Exam, CDL Driver’s Exam)
•NYS DMV Article 19A Medical Exams
•NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission Medical Exams
•USCG Physical Examination (aka Immigration Medical Exam, Green Card Exam or I-693)

Our offices are staffed with experienced Physicians under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Waiho Lum, MD who is a Board Certified Emergency Physician with:
•Over 14 years of experience
•Graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook Medical School
•Residency at NYU/Bellevue Hospital
•Previous experience

I am always happy when I leave. The staff is friendly even though we had traffic problems. Late. Dr sufka make you feel you are his patient. He took time to answer questions and also let me know results. I don't feel like a number, get in and out.
