Gail is a dually board-certified adult and psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Hunter College. Over her 20-year career, she has worked in a challenging variety of healthcare settings, including the Massachusetts Department of Correction and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections with her patients and believes in empowering them to fully engage in achieving their mental health care goals. Gail actively seeks to eliminate the stigma of mental health treatment and provides a safe, caring, and non-judgmental environment for clients who struggle with mental health or substance abuse disorders. Gail is the mother of two adult sons; she and her husband, Eric, live in northern New Jersey with their Bully-pit dog, George. When not at work, Gail enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling to tropical destinations.

I had initially booked with a completely different person and was then paired with Gail. I was then rescheduled 3 times until finally the day for my appointment arrived. I also want to note that twice when they rescheduled me I requested if anyone else could see me and they said no, which then I found out they did have someone else who could see me. My appointment came and I waited 30 minutes, granted they had sent me reminders about the meeting the day before so they were aware of my appointment as well. I reached out and apparently Gail had surgery that day and would have to cancel, but yet only because I reached out they informed me. I hope she is doing well, but I am shocked at the lack of communication in this clinic. Why would you not inform your patients that you would not be able to make your appointment?? I have been trying to be seen by this clinic since October 23 and still now November 18th was unable to see them. I will never use Orenda Psychiatry again. Very frustrating.

Friendly but simply put, said she would do something and did not even try, and I am left paying for something that should not have been ordered without my permission. The practice itself is equally problematic, and will change its story about what they can and can't do or why once confronted with the evidence from patients who know better than to take assertions on faith. Cannot recommend.
