About Dr. Gibran Shaikh
Dr. Gibran Shaikh is originally from Houston, Texas, but calls NYC home. He attended New York University School of Medicine followed by residency training at Icahn School of Medicine Mount Sinai and University of Maryland School of Medicine. At Maryland, he served as chief resident of the Department of Dermatology.
He is thrilled to join TDS and be part of their mission to provide high-quality, individualized, and holistic patient care. He recognizes the immense trust and intimacy that the dermatologist-patient relationship entails, and aspires to treat every patient as though they were a family member. He treats a wide range of general and complex skin complaints, in addition to offering the latest laser and aesthetic treatments. Particular areas of interest include hair loss, skin of color, skin cancer, eczema, psoriasis, and acne.
In his free time, Dr. Gibran Shaikh enjoys attending gallery openings and shows with his wife, visiting museums, travel, skiing, trying new restaurants, and reading for pleasure.
