Corky Nelson, MSN, FNP-BC, FNP-C Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Specialties: Emergency medicine, primary care, urgent care, chronic disease management, psychiatric care*, and COVID care. Corky has over 28 years of experience in nursing and medicine, with most of her career spent in acute care and emergency medicine. She earned her Master's in Nursing from Chamberlain University. Since the onset of COVID-19, she has focused on obtaining licensure in multiple states to provide care in rural areas and locations facing healthcare provider shortages. This was my first encounter but most definitely won’t be my last. She was a very attentive provider & took my concerns seriously. I never thought that I’d have to consult with the doctor over the phone, but this experience won’t ever be forgotten. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how she followed up on my prescriptions. Definitely worth giving a chance.
