She holds a Doctorate in Family Nursing from the State University of New York, Stony Brook; a Master's in Family Nursing and a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center; and a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley. In addition, Dr. Penn has received additional training and certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has been treating patients for substance use disorder using Suboxone and is accepting new patients for: - Primary care: treatment for medical complaints and conditions using your smartphone, tablet, or computer - Routine medical care - School/work physicals - Clearance for work - Medication management and maintenance - Sexual health: STD screening, PrEP, prescriptions - Dermatologic visits: acne, rash, skin disorders Addiction treatment and substance abuse services include support for alcohol, heroin, crack/cocaine, and nicotine addictions, with modern medication-assisted treatment to help transition to long-term recovery. Suboxone management may be covered by your insurance or available for a flat fee without healthcare coverage. Prescriptions for Buprenorphine, Naloxone, and Suboxone are provided. This practice does not prescribe controlled substances. Same-day prescriptions are available using your local pharmacy.
