What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should know that I take a collaborative and practical approach to care. My goal is to understand the full picture of what you are experiencing, including your work environment, daily stressors, medical history, and personal goals. Many of my patients are professionals in demanding roles who are used to pushing through stress while continuing to show up for others. In our work together, the focus is on creating a space where you can address your mental health in a way that supports both your well-being and your ability to function in your career and daily life. Appointments are thoughtful and solution focused. We work together to develop a treatment plan that may include medication management, lifestyle adjustments, and strategies to improve focus, mood, sleep, and overall resilience. My goal is to help you feel more stable, clear, and supported so that you can continue to move forward with confidence.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where we review your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, medications, sleep patterns, stress levels, and any factors that may be affecting your well-being. This appointment allows me to understand what you are experiencing and what goals you have for treatment. At the end of the evaluation, we develop a treatment plan together. If medication is appropriate, we discuss options, benefits, and possible side effects so you can make informed decisions about your care. Follow-up visits focus on monitoring progress, adjusting medications when needed, and making sure the treatment plan continues to support your goals. Over time, the aim is to help you achieve stability, improved functioning, and long-term resilience.
