She graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies and earned a Master's in Public Health from Columbia University. PA DeSilva moved to New York to pursue Family Medicine at Medical Arts offices, serving the uptown and downtown populations of New York City.

I don't understand how this has such a high rating. I had a bad experience and this office primarily just has you take a bunch of tests. I'm having to redo my annual appointment with another doctor because this was so bad. I didn't even get the refills of prescriptions I needed. When I called to ask questions, I got different answers each time. Do not go here.

It's a small health center/office but I was attended effectively and orderly. The appointment was evening when everyone was tired, and was kept quite short, but she was polite while clear and to the point. I felt she communicated efficiently and effectively, and listened to the few small concerns I brought up besides the general examination we were doing. She is efficient but still kind and polite.

The staff was very nice and answered my questions. The NP who saw me was also very nice and explained what was going on.
Unfortunately, after arriving at 3:15 pm for a 3:40 appt, I was not seen until 5:00. Then after the visit they said I needed to complete some teats to help determine diagnosis. That took another hour. I left around 6:15 having not completed everything.
I chose DeSilva because I wanted a female orthopedic doctor to see me. I was then told they only have male doctors. Again, the staff was great but the wait was too long.

Arriving was simple with self-check-in or a QR code, which took around 10 minutes. Shortly after, the nurse escorted me in, making the process pleasant and friendly. I was then directed downstairs to see the doctor who was truly excellent—she addressed all my concerns, encouraged questions, and readily provided referrals to specialists I wanted to consult for other issues. Overall, a perfect 10/10 experience.

I waited for about an hour before being seen. I asked for email confirmation for follow-up physical therapy and I never got it. The prescriptions they gave me were sent to the wrong pharmacy. I called the office several times and the call went straight to voicemail and I never got a call back. I also emailed the office with no response.

First off id like to say that as a new patient the level of professionals on this team is awesome. Made me feel less on edge and very comfortable. Every doctor and tech specialist and front desk are great to see and be around being attentive and helpful to top teir. Was happy to actually not feel ashamed or embarrassed and I will always be grateful for my visit. Great team ??

It was a horrible experience. She ordered tons of tests (entirely irrelevant to what I came in for--she just ordered tests for other medical conditions we had never discussed) without talking to me about it first. She was unclear in her diagnosis and didn't answer any questions that I asked, even when I asked direct "yes or no" questions. I left feeling confused, unheard, and not cared for. As someone in the healthcare field myself, I would NEVER go back, nor would I let anyone else I know.
