About Jacqueline Pizinger
Jackie is a Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in nursing. She began her career in cancer care and bone marrow transplant at Loyola University Chicago, then expanded her expertise to neurology, orthopedics, and even worked in a maximum security prison. Despite this variety, she has always felt most comfortable in orthopedic medicine, focusing on helping patients prevent pain. Education on disease prevention and conservative management of medical issues has been a top priority throughout her career.
Jackie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago. After gaining clinical experience, she pursued her Master’s in Family Nursing at the University of St. Francis. While she has considered further education, her two very active daughters keep her busy for now. She has also worked alongside her husband, Dr. Ryan Pizinger, for several years.
In her limited free time, Jackie enjoys reading, watching murder mystery shows, and spending time with her family.

The practitioner nurses were rude and very unprofessional and discussed my business while I was in the waiting area. In my opinion, she should not be practicing on anyone, her behavior was very unacceptable, and she had a very nasty ugly attitude was talking to me the whole time, looking at the wall or on her phone. I was so disgusted about how she treated me and if I had acted the way she acted they would have called the police on me. But I remain calm and show her how a real classy lady is supposed to behave.

She was great at diagnosing the issue. The medication was not prescribed long enough to treat the problem. Ended up having to go to the ER. She did not return calls made to office.

Jaqueline is very nice to work with. She did a great job with my steroid injection and it wasn't as painful as I was expecting! She's knowledgeable, explains things clearly and I have never felt uncomfortable dealing with her. I wish I could say that about other medical professionals I've worked with. The office staff is very nice too!

She was very professional and very personable. I was surprised she had read all my charts and was aware of the health issues I was dealing with and how my finger issue could be part of my ongoing health challenge. I hadn't thought of that, but after speaking with her, i could see how the issues could be related. She gave me treatment options and was very understanding of my desire to take a conservative approach to treatment. I would highly recommend!

Everyone was helpful and friendly. They’ve answered all my questions to the best of their ability. And if I was still confused about what was going on, she broke it down for me to understand the problem. She also wrote down a few holistic stuff I can take when I requested other methods. Dr. Jackie Pizinger is only available on Fridays at the Joliet location.

Very smooth process. I was checked in right away. I didn’t have to wait very long before being taken back for x-rays and then flowed to a room straight away. I was greeted and talked to by the medical assistant right away and the doc walked in a few minutes after. I felt understood and also understood what I was told. A pleasant experience overall.

The visit with her was great but the treatment didn’t work and now I’m more than before. I wish there was a way to expedite the process and waiting time for MRI as I can barely walk. The office called me back and said there’s nothing they can do to speed things up. There should be a quicker process for patients in pain.

After sitting for 47 minutes in the waiting room I walked out. The doctor had cancelled appointments on Monday, I had one, and obviously was making up for the lost revenue by overbooking Wednesday

I came in with pain in my right leg and hip, received an X-ray, and was told everything was fine with my artificial hip. I was not given any explanation for what might be causing the pain; no real proposed solution, and was simply asked if I wanted a script for Physical Therapy and a final comment "that there is not much I can do for an artificial hip". Pretty disappointing visit.
