About Dr. Jake Stephen

Dr. Jake Stephen is an Interventional Spine & Pain Management physician specializing in non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions. He provides comprehensive, minimally invasive care, with a focus on fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures for the neck, lower back, joints, and other musculoskeletal pain conditions and injuries.
Dr. Stephen does NOT prescribe opioids. His treatment approach emphasizes restoring function and improving quality of life without the use of narcotic medications.
Dr. Stephen earned his medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He went on to complete his fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Michigan.

First of all they advertise as an orthopedic but they are pain management and THATS what they should advertise as. I needed to see an orthopedic for a sprained ankle.and tendon, when I got there, it was pain management. They are not truly orthopedic drs they are the people you see after you actually see orthopedic doctor to manage your pain and that’s not what I needed and I explained that to the girl and she still said that they are orthopedics so I got nowhere And also their address is not on the side of Richmond Road. It’s on the side of the down street. Honestly, they should advertise under pain management only.,

I've been struggling with pain for over 20 years. I've seen countless providers but have not been able to achieve pain relief without drugs with life-altering side effects. I came in the office with mind numbing pain and after targeted trigger point injections and a short physical therapy session I was able to walk out with significant pain reduction. Dr. Jake really listened to me. He asked what I've tried in the past, how I felt about it, if it worked and what I was willing to try again. He offered me a solution that I can live with. In addition to Dr. Jake, I was able to get a physical therapy session that really alleviated my pain. The topper was the staff. Every staff member I encounters was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was seen, evaluated and treated with less than 5 mins wait time!!!

He is sending me for tests to clearly identify the issue, and is helping me with my pain before the test results are in. He was kind and smiled. I highly recomend him.
