Dr. Janet Abrams is an experienced OB-GYN joining the CMP Group at their new state of the art Queens facility working along with Dr. Felix Cohen, Dr. Adjoa Bucknor, and Ms. Jane Lee. Offering vast services from in-office same-room ultrasounds, colposcopy, IUD's/Implants, hysteroscopy, evaluation for chronic pelvic pain and heavy menstruation as well as hormonal therapy and important cancer screening protocols.

This was my first gyno appointment so I was obviously nervous. The doctor seemed a bit curt and dismissive of my concerns, including saying I would not have/need any libido without a partner (which is just biologically untrue for most) when I brought up my lack of one.
I was unable to get a pap smear, and she seemed dismissive of the fact it caused me actual pain since she didn't believe it would (it was the small brush). She also insisted repeatedly I put my phone down when all I was doing was texting my mother about how I was doing. I left feeling naive and embarrassed rather than comforted.
One benefit is she took a blood test to check my hormone levels which I've wanted done for ages. She seems knowledgeable on the field, just not bedside manner. She is likely a better doctor for older patients who have attended the gyno before because I did not feel very supported as a new attendee.

Seen Dr. Abrams for breast pain, and she immediately took action and gave me a referral for further info. Cleaning and fast OBGYN I've been to in a while! Found my new doctor, thank you!

The experience was horrible they were very dismissive. The Provider comes in the room ask for my name then ask what time is my appointment I said 2:30 she goes and says no it was 1:30 you are late and I don’t know why they would check you in when I have patients waiting who were on time like it’s my first time and to be clear I was right my appointment was for 2:30 it was on their side wrong doing and during my examination I never felt more uncomfortable
