“Back in 2018 I broke my right ankle in the Navy, I had to undergo surgery. To this day, I still have hardware left in my ankle. The few years following my departure from the navy I’ve always had issues with my ankle, no matter what I did it would always give me issues. For explain, should the weather get too cold, my ankle would get sore, if I walk for too long or be on my feet too long my ankle starts to get swollen. The issue with my ankle got so bad that I had to start putting my weight from one leg to the other. This would also give me issues, such as pain on my left leg now too. Other problems start to come up such as lower back pains.
I discover the power of acupuncture after I read on it online. On my down time I would also work out a lot, such as cross fit. I read an article about how acupuncture helped with post work out. So I contacted the V.A and they set up a series of acupuncture sessions with Dr. Jared Lien. I have been going to Jared for almost a year now, and I have not had any of my problems since. I would go on long walks or runs and my ankle can handle it now, cold weathers have not been an issue since either. Dr. Lien is amazing; he has always made my sessions a welcoming part of my week. If you in the need of an acupuncturist then look no further, you will be in good hands with Dr. Lien.

About Dr. Jared Lien
Dr. Jared Lien is the founder of Lien On Me Acupuncture. He is married to Jessica Lien (Operating Partner), and they have one son Theodore. Professionally Jared is a registered nurse, licensed acupuncturist, and Chinese herbalist. He is certified by the California Board of Acupuncture & is a diplomate of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) certified nationally by NCCAOM. He completed his Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine and his Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine at the prestigious Pacific College of Health Sciences in San Diego. While at PCOM he studied Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Western Diseases, Qigong, Tai chi, massage and nutritional therapy.
Dr. Jared worked as a registered nurse for the last 17 years at Scripps Hospital in La Jolla, CA. He specialized in cardiac and stroke rehabilitation. During his time as a nurse, he realized the importance of preventative and holistic medicine. He believes you must treat the whole body, mind and soul. Jared retired from nursing in 2021 to purse his passion in Chinese Medicine full time.
Jared and Jessica Lien operate Lien On Me Acupuncture together. They have one young son Theodore who helps drive their motivation. Team Lien was formed in 2018 when they started worked together to build their current office in Pacific Beach. Jared & Jessica enjoy the freedom of entrepreneurship after both spending more than a decade in corporate work. At Lien On Me Acupuncture their goal is to provide a teaching and healing environment for their patients and staff. Lien On Me Acupuncture would like to become a local and national leader for small business in acupuncture and healthcare.
