Jason Medina, MD, knows how stressful it can be when a loved one gets sick. He is committed to easing this anxiety by providing exemplary family medicine to residents throughout Sachse and greater Dallas. Whether treating adults or children, Dr. Medina communicates with his patients on an individualized level to encourage an accurate diagnosis and a speedy, pain free recovery.
After completing his medical degree at the University of Texas, Dr. Washburn went on to participate in the competitive McLennan County Family Medicine Residency Program. There, he learned how to take an integrated approach to family medicine. Today, he continues to stay active in the medical community as a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the Dallas County Medical Society.

There was a packed waiting room, which made me a bit nervous that there would be a delay in getting in on time, however, I was in with the nurse within minutes of checking in. The nurse was very friendly and caring and Dr. Medina came in just moments after she finished checking my vitals. Dr. Medina was very efficient and took the time to hear my concens and give advice for my situation. He consistently has a great bedside manner - very casual to make one feel comfortable and genuine, showing real concern. I highly recommend Dr. Medina to anyone. He is now my family doctor for not just myself, but also my husband, and three sons who are 14, 10 and almost 5 months. He is knowledgeable, caring and genuine with each.

The visit went very well - all of the staff were friendly and accomodating. I was able to get exactly what I needed and the doctor was genuine. I didn't feel rushed at all and got the impression that the nurses and doctors were genuinely interested in my thoughts and what I had to say, as well as concerned with my overall health and well being.
