Undergraduate Education: John Brown University; Bachelor of Science (B.S.). Optometry School: Southern College of Optometry. Professional Achievements and Associations: American Optometric Association. The reason I became an optometrist is: The epiphany I had after receiving my first pair of glasses and seeing truly clear for the first time was life changing. I became an optometrist because I value the joy in making that feeling possible for others. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Seeing clear and comfortable is such an important part of appreciating and making the most out of life. It is a pleasure knowing that I am helping patients see their best and live their best lives. In my spare time, I enjoy: Spending time with family, hiking, biking and golf.
