“I went to see Dr. Soung back in December for my annual check up. I really liked her and booked a follow up to review my charts and a vaccine I had missed last time.
Once I arrived, I was informed Dr. Soung is no longer at this practice (Umbrella Health). I was then seen by a male doctor and had no other choice of female doctors. This is frustrating because the whole point of Zocdoc is to have transparency with the doctors you are seeing beforehand. I will now look for another primary care doctor/practice.
Otherwise, Dr. Soung is great and would love to see her again!”

Dr. Jennifer Soung is a primary care physician who has been providing medical care to New Yorkers for almost a decade. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience caring for patients in a variety of clinical settings: urban metropolises, rural underserved areas, immigrant communities, and halfway across the globe in Africa as a medical mission volunteer.

My visit was for general consultation. The doctor seems prepared to have answers and guidance for any health issues. That is commendable!

Arrived 15min early as instructed. Upon arrival was told the doctor was running a tad bit late because of the trains. I agreed to wait. During the check in process the receptionist came back and said the doctor would not be in until 2 or 3pm. It was 11am! Confused how a tad bit late due to train delays turned in a 3-4hr delay?!
I was offered the option to see another doctor or be rescheduled. The only other doctor available was a male doctor and I had specifically chosen a female doctor.
The reception staffer were very nice but a bit pushy with seeing the male doctor even after I had said no at least twice.
I left and I will not be returning to the practice.

Waste of time and money. Anything more complicated than an annual physical is clearly too much for this office to handle. They couldn't even find me in their system and I was a return patient, coming for a follow up that they were supposed to call me back to setup and they never did.
I booked on zocdoc for a Friday appointment, I then rescheduled that Friday appointment to the next day and noticed issues with that. I called the office the day of my original appointment and spoke to a young boy on the phone, he said I was all set to come in the next day after I gave him all my information. I take a trip into Manhattan for the sole purpose of my appointment, only for me to not have an appointment and the doctors that could have done my incredibly specialized assessment weren't there. So I was had to head back home and accept the loss.

Some info was provided wrongly by the ZocDoc. I was being suggested by ZocDoc to take the Annual OB test. And this office popup when I booked the appointment.
But after I arrived, I realized the office doesn’t support OB test but annual physical check, which is frustrating.
But they did provide good service with annual check.

Dr. Soung was professional but a bit judgmental about responses to the standard social history questions. It made me uncomfortable. I'd return to her again in a pinch, but would not recommend to a friend or see her again if I didn't have to.

I had a great visit. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Very helpful and attentive. The clinic was very clean and cozy feeling. Dr. Jennifer was very pleasant and sweet.
