Dr. Joseph Santi is a distinguished podiatrist specializing in reconstructive foot surgery, dedicated to delivering top-tier care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. Double board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM), he brings exceptional expertise in diagnosing and treating complex podiatric issues, with a focus on bursitis, corns, heel spurs, metatarsal surgery, plantar fasciitis, plantar warts, diabetic foot complications, limb salvage, pediatric foot conditions, sports injuries, and nail trauma.
Dr. Santi completed his residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, serving as chief resident and gaining extensive surgical training. He remains affiliated with New York Methodist Hospital and is the Residency Director at Maimonides Midwood Hospital. As an active leader in the podiatric field, he is a professional member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association (NYSPMA), where he previously served as President of the Kings Division.
Dr. Santi earned his Bachelor of Science from St. John’s University, graduating magna cum laude and making the dean’s list. He went on to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated cum laude and was recognized for academic excellence.
