Dr. Peveto is super nice and very knowledgeable. I had some fears about my current birth control method and she spoke with me about the alternative options and calmed my fears about any side effects I was concerned about. She has a very approachable and caring demeanor and I trust her expertise. All of her staff is really nice, too. They are quite busy so although I was called in shortly, I did have to wait in the room for a while. I don't mind though - I'd rather wait a little longer, if that means the doctor is thorough than to go see someone who just gets you in and out for the sake of timing.

Dr. Peveto is a Dallas area native, born and raised in Irving, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, graduating magna cum laude. She returned to the DFW metroplex, receiving her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. After graduation, she ventured across town for her residency physician training in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
She is board eligible for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and plans to take her oral board exam in 2014. She is a member of the faculty for the obstetrics and gynecology residency training program at Baylor University Medical Center, and is dedicated to physician education. She has accrued many accomplishments and awards throughout her medical school and residency training. She is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, and American Medical Association.
Dr. Peveto is passionate about women's health throughout all phases of a patient's life, from puberty to menopause. She is a skilled minimally invasive surgeon, both in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She is proficient in many procedures, including in-office procedures such as endometrial ablations, permanent sterilization with Essure, and management of abnormal pap smears. Her surgical skill includes hysterectomy, advanced laparoscopy, vaginal surgery, and urogynecological procedures such as those to treat urinary incontinence. She has a passion for patient education, and enjoys treating patients' gynecological needs, from contraception counseling and management to well-women exams and basic infertility. She enjoys caring for pregnant patients, and is excited to manage both uncomplicated and high-risk pregnancies. In her spare time, she is an avid reader and sports fan, and loves spending time with her husband and daughter.

As a young adult, it is nerve-wracking to go to the gynecologist for the first time. She made me feel comfortable and addressed any concerns that I had. She was also very personable and made sure that the awkward part was over quickly! Also, just a tip.. their office is located in the Barnett tower!

The wait time was ridiculous. I missed my other two appointments elsewhere because of the long wait at this appointment. They messed up on calling in my prescription, my online pharmacy fills 90day medications and I wasn't sure why they'd only call in for 60 days. With that said, dr. Peveto was really nice and listened to my concerns and thoroughly answered my questions. I did not feel rushed. This was my first time seeing her.

They work with too many patients at the same time. It feels very impersonal. They take you from reception to one room and othe and leave you waiting... Dr. Peveto took time to talk and listen. She gave me accurate answers. However, it doesn't feel like "my doctor really knows me". They seem to be overloaded with work.

This was my very first time going in to the ob-gyn, of course I was a bit nervous because I did not know what to expect. As soon as you walk in you feel welcome. The front staff are very nice and respectful. The nurse assistant is awesome as well as Dr.Peveto. She took the time to listen and answered all my questions, I would highly recommend anyone to come in and make an appointment with her.

Let's face it – visiting the gynecologist is not the highlight of any woman's year. But Dr. Peveto put me completely at ease and made the whole experience as pleasant as it can be. Her nurse, Jennifer, was also kind and helpful.

I only saw her in place of my original OB. She performed my son's circumcision. I arrived somewhat emotional to the appointment, since this was a procedure on my newborn, and she told me that the babies she has done this on rarely if ever cry. This was very reassuring for me to hear. It was over very quickly and when the nurse brought him to me he looked peaceful. Overall I was very happy with my experience.
