Kate Pabai is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner with a huge passion for mental health, whose care is centered on incorporating both the medical and mental health needs of her clients. She provides extensive psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacological treatment initiation, and monitoring for both acute and chronic mental health problems. Kate has worked in a variety of settings, including medical, surgical, stroke, dialysis, behavioral units, and case management, before gaining over two years of experience in an outpatient mental health clinic treating patients with a wide range of psychiatric disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and ADHD, just to name a few.
In 2016, Kate obtained her Bachelor of Science from Bowie State University. After gaining bedside experience and recognizing the need for mental health professionals, she pursued a Master's in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University in 2018.
Kate's passion for mental health is immeasurable, and she understands that treating patients with mental health challenges requires a special person who is empathetic, able to listen, and committed to providing individualized and personalized care.

We talk together and uncovered what kind of therapy is best for each client based on the problem and the situation address in our conversation, which is also part of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
