Dr. Kemisola Ebietomiye (Dr. Kemi) is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a US veteran with over a decade of extensive experience. She has several years of extensive experience spanning inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and community mental health care settings. With more than 1,000 hours of advanced continuing education, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) specializing in PMHNP, and a proven track record of improving care delivery and clinical performance, Dr. Ebietomiye brings a high level of expertise, clinical insight, and leadership to both patient care and professional collaboration. Currently, she focuses on caring for individuals with severe mental illnesses. Her dedication to mental health is deeply rooted in both her professional and personal background, and she is committed to providing compassionate care that honors the whole person, treating each individual with dignity and respect.

When you work with me, you can expect a compassionate, whole-person approach to care. I am deeply committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share your story and feel heard. I understand that seeking help for mental health can feel overwhelming, so I make it a priority to listen attentively and collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your personal goals. I currently offer telehealth-only services. New Jersey law requires an in-person visit before stimulant medications can be prescribed for ADHD. As I do not provide in-person appointments, I am unable to prescribe stimulant medications for ADHD to New Jersey patients at this time.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
A typical session with me begins with a deep dive into your current challenges and experiences. My goal is to understand your unique circumstances, which allows me to tailor each session to your needs. We will explore your symptoms, concerns, and goals, and I'll provide support through a combination of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and medication management if needed. I strive to make each session feel like progress—helping you gain practical tools for managing symptoms and improving your well-being. As we move forward together, I hope to empower you to take control of your mental health, develop greater self-awareness, and find a path toward healing and empowerment.

Prior authorization was never properly submitted, twice in a row. Then the NP refused to refill an MAOI which I have records for years being prescribed. Only informed me she wouldn't prescribe the maoi refill until 2 appointment and 2 copayments later. Waste of time.

She has a very warm and professional demeanor, and is a great listener. She always has shown up promptly to appointments, sends reminders beforehand so I don't forget about them, and is available if I need to get in touch about a prescription or for any inquiry in between meetings. Today was my first visit and she asked direct, poignant questions without judgmentor bias.. She took the time to listen to my health history, was thorough in assessing me and communicated things very clearly. My anxiety and depression has been through the roof since June after my previous provider dropped my insurance and my return to harmony bay sent me into a panic with the way I was being treated. Dr. Kemi was terrific and in that one visit, gave me better hope and greatly reduced my anxiety.
