Growing up as the daughter of a military parent, Dr. Johnson lived in many states and countries, an experience that deepened her cultural awareness and adaptability. Outside of work, she enjoys jewelry design, theater, fine dining, travel, and science fiction, as well as spending time with her family and energetic puppy.
