About Lauren Rudy

After stumbling upon and reading *The Omnivore's Dilemma* by Michael Pollan, I realized there was a lot I didn't know about our food system, where our food comes from, and nutrition in general. I grew up playing sports but never made the connection between nutrition and how it affects not only performance but also our overall well-being. This insight inspired me to change my major from Interior Design to Nutrition/Dietetics, and I haven't looked back since. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Kentucky and completed my Dietetics Internship at Dominican University, which solidified my passion and prepared me to support others in making informed, healthful choices.

My first session with Lauren went very well. I felt listened to and supported as I began navigating my own health and dietary journey. Lauren takes a true and while view of what brought you to Culina and compliments that with solid science/nutrition backing. While I am still working on and building my plan with her and Culina, everything is off to a great start. I couldn't be happier after my first meeting and intake.
