“Dr. Santos was great. He listened and seems to really care, only wanting the best for me - working WITH me to get this done. I am not too sure about the office. It was drab, with someone behind a window that I never spoke to nor did they even give acknowledge my existence - since you check in digitally on a kiosk. I spent a while filling out all the information that was asked of me before hand in the patient portal. When I got there, Dr. Santos did not have this information and had to get all of it, once again, from me. When I left, he wanted to make sure the office had my insurance, not wanting me to get a "surprise" bill. As I was leaving, the window was covered and absolutely no way to find or speak with anybody. I sent a message through the portal but have no idea what information they have, waiting for a reply. All said, just be prepared BUT if you get the change, absolutely without a doubt, see Dr. Santos. I look forward to his future help!!! Alone, he gets a 10 out of 10!”

No, I wouldn't go back. Sending my paperwork and medical records was very confusing. The doctor works via a larger company called 'Talkiatry' . While I believe the decision was ethical, he didn't follow through on finding me in-person care. He stopped seeing me due to my complex circumstances, stating that I needed a doctor who could physically see me, but he didn't assist me in locating that care like he said he would ("my office will do the leg work"). Now, I'm left without a psychiatrist months later.

Dr. Santos-Gutierrez is a brilliant psychiatrist who cares about his patients, asks thoughtful and insightful questions, and has a fantastic understanding psychopharmacology and the role it plays in multidisciplinary mental health treatment. I am glad to be his patient and look forward to working with him going forward!

A really stand out doctor. He was friendly and welcoming. I’ve never been to a psychiatrist before, but he made me feel comfortable right away. He was really good about asking questions as well as answering any technical medical questions I had before we turned to making any decisions. The only minor blemish for the experience is that the waiting room is kind of bleak. But his office is nice with a view outside.

My experience was a 10/10. First off the office was exceptionally clean I mean spotless everything. Second you will get greeted by a couple very attractive friendly young women who will get you signed in so you can see Dr. Lorenzo Santos Gutierrez right away. I should also mention as a courtesy for the front desk staff and yourself please do take a picture of your insurance card and upload it or call the doctors office and leave a message. This courtesy saves the staff yourself and other patients trying to be seen by the doctors time. I found out the hard however that I was not covered because I did not send a picture of my insurance or personally called the doctors office to verify everything but I would still do it all over again due to the fact that my visit contributed financially to this doctors practice. Now on to my review for the doctor himself. I instantly connected with Dr Guiterrez before the appointment even took place when I found out he financially contributed to a country who my heart belongs to by getting his degree at this certain university. Second his demeanor is 5 stars. He carries himself in a such a calm and humble manor. He is very respectful polite and sympathetic to your situation. I am not the kind of person that writes reviews but I feel this review will help save an individual from making an appointment with a psychiatrist who will end up wasting their time. If you get to read this Dr Gutierrez I will always be in debt to you because you are responsible for the last step in my process I needed in order to getting my life back on track.
