When I was an adolescent, I was perusing my father's medical textbook collection and found so many disciplines that inspired curiosity. My father, being a physician himself, was always invigorated and enthused about one element of his practice: his relationship with his patients. Inevitably, it was the power of human connection that inspired me to pursue Medicine. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. I completed my Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Nephrology at Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University, Christiana Care, Newark. These experiences deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, expert care to patients with kidney disease. We have the privilege and honor of treating a diverse population with acute and chronic kidney disease, which allows us to forge long-lasting relationships with our patients.
